Prestige of Sushma, Kamalnath, Scindia, Narendra Singh Tomar, Cong state president Arun Yadav, former Union minister Kantilal Bhuria, Sumitra Mahajan, Vivek Tankha, Prahlad Patel and Phaggan Singh Kulaste at stake
BHOPAL: The announcement of Lok Sabha poll results on Friday will decide the fate of candidates who are in the fray from 29 parliamentary seats along with Vidisha Assembly seat in the State. The prestige of leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, BJP state president Narendra Singh Tomar, Union ministers Kamalnath and Jyotiraditya Scindia, Congress state president Arun Yadav, former Union minister Kantilal Bhuria, Sumitra Mahajan, Vivek Tankha, Prahlad Patel and Phaggan Singh Kulaste is at stake.
The polling in the state took place in three phases on April 10, 17 and 24. As many as 328 candidates including 37 women candidates are trying their in the 29 parliamentary seats in the state. The counting of votes will be held at all district headquarters in the state with the help of more than 15,000 government personnel. As many as 17 companies of Central Special Armed Forces (CSAF) have been deployed for security during counting of votes. Local police, SAF and home guards would also be deputed.
