BHOPAL : The Professional Education Board (PEB) initiated an inquiry into the Forest Guard Recruitment Exam bloomer on Tuesday, even as the political parties grabbed the opportunity to put the government in the dock. Congress workers blackened the PEB board and the AAP alleged that the state government did not want to change the manner of functioning of the Board.

The declaration of the forest guard recruitment exam had kicked up a major row. The PEB had declared the result of the exam on 30 January and changed within 48 hours, on 1st February.

The Board later suspended programmer Ashok Devnani and served show-cause notices on Joint Controller exam and head of computer section SK Gandhi

Youth Congress District President Amit Sharma and other partymen blackened the board of the PEB on Tuesday. They alleged that the government had only changed the name of the board but was functioning in the same manner.

The AAP activist, Akshay Hunka alleged that the Board being embroiled in many scams, the government is doing little to improve it.

The director of the PEB, Bhaskar Lakchakar informed that a detailed inquiry was instituted into the issue on Tuesday and on Wednesday the board will submit the report to the government for the further action.
