Rajpur : The local administration chooses to ignore the problems related to the distribution of the grains, rice, sugar and Kerosene through the government runs fair price shops under Public Distribution System (PDS).
The material is brought very late in the month. The stock remains at the controls for 7 to 8 days and then the shopkeeper starts saying that he is out of stock. The customers have complaint regarding the issue to the Food Inspector and SDM but they do not take any action against the issue.
