Patwari caught accepting bribe of Rs 2000

Manawar : In a trap laid by Indore Lok Ayukta Police, a Patwari of Manawar was caught accepting bribe of Rs 2000 for making a separation receipt.

As per the information received, Singhana resident Jagdish Paatidar, was making rounds of the Patwari’s office for making the receipt of separation with mutual consent. But, patwari identified as Laxman Patidar was demanding Rs 3000 as bribe.

To this, the complainant reached the office of Lok Ayukta police and lodged a complaint against Patwari.

The Lok Ayukta sleuths laid a trap to nab the corrupt patwari.

They sent Patidar with Rs 2000 to Patwari and as he accepted the amount, sleuths standing in civil dress caught him red-handed.

The bribe amount was recovered from patwari’s pocket.

The accused were booked under sections 7, 13(1)d, 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act-1988.

DSP BS Parihar, TI Asha, SSP Raghav, Anil Chauhan, constable Shiv Prasad Parashar, Pawan Shersingh of the Indore Lok Ayukta police accomplished this raid.
