BHOPAL : An auto- rickshaw driver was stabbed by three miscreants over old enmity near the Administrative Academy under Habibganj police station on Monday. In the aftermath of the incident, the injured auto- rickshaw driver was admitted to a private hospital while following the complaint of the victim; the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against all the three accused and started search to nab them. Police said that the victim auto- rickshaw driver has been identified as Sajid Ali, 38, son of Sharafat Ali, who resides at Banganga area. In his complaint, Sajid told the police that on Monday afternoon near Administrative Academy three accused namely Raees, Annu Khan and Shafiq who were all also auto- rickshaw drivers stopped him and started to abuse him for which Sajid raised objection. Soon the dispute among them turned ugly following which all the three youths stabbed him with sharp- edged weapon in which Sajid sustained grievous injuries in his back.
