Child Tracking System , State education dept claims to maintain cent per cent transparency through programme based on Samagra-ID,

BHOPAL : The ‘Child Tracking System’, an innovation of the state government developed with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC), will be adopted by the National University of Educational Planning (NUEPA) on the national level.

NIC technical director Sunil Jain informed Free Press that a Child Tracking System has been prepared through the Samagra-ID. The programme was launched in the year 2012, since then to current year the admissions to schools and now to colleges are given through Samagra-IDs.

The school education department is providing all the benefits according to the child registered in the web portal. 100 percent transparency has been maintained in the distribution of scholarships, like from nine different departments the registered students are getting 30 types of scholarships running in the state, mid-day meal, bicycles to the girls, uniform, laptops, mobiles and others.

Every year the department has to send the annual report of the ‘Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan’ to the government of India. According to demanded made by the states, the GoI allocates the budget for the schools.

Madhya Pradesh is the only state across the country in which the budget demand is dropping gradually, because the report contains the information about the dropouts, students shifting to private schools and many others.

The Union Expenditure Commission pointed out the MP state report, after which a team of the Commission visited the state and studied the ground report.

A delegation from the state also gave the detailed presentation to the commission, in New Delhi, which was appreciated by the Union government.

Recently a workshop was organised in Chandigarh, in which the MHRD unit, NUEP, appreciated the MP model and decided to implement it in the entire nation. NUEPA has designed ‘Unified District Information System’ the roll out in which, the information of each student will be present in single click. The teacher has to fill 35 types of information about every child and school also.
