BHOPAL: Even as the state health and family welfare department denied any irregularity in recruitment of pharmacists in NRHM, done through mponline, government’s IT company, police headquarters handed over probe to CID, following complaint in this regard.
DGP Nandan Dubey said, the police had sought detail of selected candidates from health and family welfare department.
“ The information regarding the selection have been sought from the department concerned with asking the CID to probe the complaint,” said the DGP. The controversy emerged recently over recruitment carried out a year ago, in July 2013, only because of the Congress taking up it to target the BJP government facing heat of other recruitment scam. The complaint was received by the police much before and sources said it was handed over for probe to CID only after approval from the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The probe certainly could create trouble for the mponline – a joint venture of the state government with Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) and health department officials. The test was held in 32 centres in eight cities online. The Congress had come out with the allegation that marks of selected candidates, who were below the cut off marks, were changed at later stage.
