BHOPAL : Minister for Animal Husbandry Kusum Mehdale maintains that if production increases, then supply of eggs on demand in Aanganwadis would be considered. Mehdale, addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, said there is no differences between Chief Minister and her on supply of eggs in Aanganwadis. She said those who are vegetarian can drink milk while non-vegetarians can eat eggs and fish.
Earlier, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has clearly said that that eggs would not be supplied in Aanganwadis of the state.
Mehdale said ‘Rural Industries Global Project’ would be launched from July 1 for expansion of cottage and rural industries in the state. The project aims at providing global market to these products online. Under this project, Handloom, Handicraft, Handicraft Development Corporation, Khadi, Silk and Mati-Shilp products would be made available for sale under one roof. Fifty selling points to be established across the state and all hotels and motels of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation would market these products.
Bagh, Maheshwar, Chanderi, Bell metal, products of Khadi Board, Project Kabira and Vindhya Valley, natural silk, mulberry tussar and artworks of clay will also be sold at one place. Sale would be done through exhibitions in Bhopal, Gwalior and Indore.
