Chennai meet voices concern over China’s expansionist designs
BHOPAL: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS) has termed BJP national president Nitin Gadkari comparing Swami Vivekanand with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim as ‘ wrong.’ RSS Madhya Prant Karyavaha Ashok Agarwal said Swami Vivekanand was a unique personality and cannot be compared with anyone.
Agarwal said statements should be seen in their context but still, what Gadkari said cannot be considered right. Agarwal, giving details of the three- day meeting held recently in Chennai said two main proposals were passed in the meting and 1310 ‘ Shakhas’ of RSS have been added in one year.The number of youths joining Shakhas has gone up by more than 85 per cent. At present, Sangh Karya Shakhas are running at 42,000 places.
Agarwal said the infiltrators from Bangladesh are the reason behind violence taking place in Assam. He claimed these infiltrators are in high numbers in seven out of twenty- seven districts in Assam.In the meeting concern was also expressed over China encroaching upon Indian borders.
It was informed that China is establishing Air Force bases, missiles and cantonments on Sino- Tibet border. Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal urged the government to give topmost priority to development in national security policy.
