Kantaphod : Preparations are on for dedicating a newly built Primary Health Centre, but when local citizens went through the premises of the building, it was found that building of the health centre has not been built in a proper manner.
The quality of the material which has been used in building the property seemed to substandard. The tiles which are coming up there too are wearing off. Technically speaking, the building seems to be full of flaws. There are no wire meshes around the window panes to stop the mosquitoes. The drainage system is faulty and the water does not flow towards the direction that it should ideally flow. The level of tiles in the bathroom and toilets should have been ideally at eight feets, but as of now it has been built with tiles of four feet.
Water is stagnant at the entrance, since the tiles at the entrance and the ramp are not at a level, so that water can flow. Some of the tiles on the ramp have worn off. Two doctors quarters have also been constructed in the area. And water has been seeing leaking from the walls of the quarters.
When the Chief Municipal Officer Dixit was contacted, he said that he would soon send an engineer and get the matter inspected. But that was not to be. When Engineer Sharma was contacted, he said that the building already has been handed over.
When the local physician Kotkar was contacted in this connection, he said,” I am in Reeva. I do not know as to who handed over the building and when did they do so”.
