Hoshangabad : The act which has been constituted for chemists need some amendments, said Vidhan Sabha president Seetasharan Sharma. He was addressing a regional level workshop on the occasion by the district level Dawa Vikreta Sangh as the chief guest.
He in his address said that the role of chemists for a patient is as important as the role of a doctor. Seetasharan Sharma said that some points with the act would be brought to light in front of Central Government. Members of chemists association and public relations officer Suresh Choksey were present on the occasion.
In his presidential address, local general secretary of Rajeev Singhal said that many chemists sell food products and law says that in case any issue is found in the product, action would be taken against the seller of the product. He further said that action should be taken against manufacturers of these food products.
More than 225 chemists were present on the occasion and discussed various matters such as issues which can surface in future for the chemists, business margins and on providing better services to the customers.
