Nagda : The city Munipality time to time attempts unprecedented steps, which have achieved success. Municipality President Shobha Gopal Yadav too has established herself as a person who loves working differently.
Under the leadership of the President Yadav, a school students’ general knowledge competition was organised at Grasim Higher Secondary School near Birla Gram petrol pump in which total 3717 students participated. The competition was divided into three sections.
While the first prize was worth Rs 11,000, the second was Rs 5,000 and third consisted of a reward of Rs 2,500 including shields for all.
The city journalists, advocates and respected citizens were present as observers. The municipal President Shobha Gopal Yadav met all classes’ students personally, and asked them to organise more of such competitions. She asked them for suggestions, which can uplift the condition of the present education system in the city.
The students enthusiastically participated in the competiton. The result of the competition will be declared soon and winner students and teachers will be felicitated in their schools. The Municipality vice President Sajjan Singh Shekhavat, former Municipality president Gopal Yadav, corporator Rajesh Dhakad and many others were present.
