MPTDC to launch training of boat safety at boat clubs

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) is going to impart training in boat safety at its 12 boat clubs across the state. The training is being imparted in watermanship to skilled manpower by retired Navy officers. Training is being imparted in the form of a capsule course in ten days. Power boat handling, maintenance of engine of boat, search and rescue works are also taught during training.

The first batch of training would start from May 11 at Tava Resort. The second batch would start from May 25 at Boat Club, Indira Sagar, Khandwa while the third batch would begin from June 8 at Boat Club, Tigra (Gwalior).
