Mandsaur: MP Sudhir Gupta accompanied by other members of the research team of People’s Foundation of India (PFI) visited Indonesia to understand their mechanism of population control and family planning. The team studied the national structure, universal health coverage, family planning and other such plans implemented by the country thoroughly and also appreciated the same.
Dr Kireet Solanki, MP of west Champaran, Bihar, Dr Sanjay Jaiswal, MP from Sikkim Prem Das Rai, MP from Nandoorbar Dr Heena Gavit, deputy health commissioner Dr CK Sikadar, director of Health Policy Commission Sumant Narayan, research officer of Health Policy Commission Jyoti Khattar, Dr Kheya Melo, PFI’s executive director Poonam Murtaza, Sujeet Ranjan, Sonia Singh and others accompanied Gupta who stayed in Jakarta on Monday.
The high-level delegation discussed several related issues at the John Hopkin’s Centre for Communication in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The group toured Lombok on Tuesday.
