Khandwa : CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who believes that farming in the state, can be transformed into a profitable business has taken an initiative to improve the technical know-how of the farmers of the state by giving them an opportunity to visit progressive countries such as Israel, Holland, Spain, France, Peru, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Brazil.

Peasants who were not able to go for the foreign trip last year would be preferred for the trip this year. Others interested in the trip can contact respective Agricultural Development Officer or Kisan Kalyan or Agriculture Development Department’s website www.mpkrishi.org or www.mandiboard.org for more information.

Government would bear 90% cost burden of SC farmers, 75% cost burden of ST farmers and 50% burden of General class farmers.
