Motivate Sahariya ST youths to be self-reliant

SHIVPURI: Collector Omprakash Shrivastav reviewed the progress of beneficiary and self employment oriented schemes and the programmes here on Thursday, and instructed the officers that the tribal categories should be motivated especially Sahariya tribal category to be encouraged to take the benefits of the different schemes so that their financial condition would be improved and they would be self dependent.

They can start their self employment with the help of government schemes. So for this, information of the plans and the schemes can be provided to the college and hostel students to formed the self employment.

He gave the instructions to give the priority to the cases of service sector and industries than the cases of business sector in self employment oriented schemes.

On this occasion chief executive officer DK Maurya, leading district manager Rakesh Sood, Industry, tribal welfare, backward class, ITI, RLM, rural development, khadi and village industry officials were present.
