BHOPAL: MLAs of ruling and opposition parties raised issue against the irrigation minister for sanctioning maximum number of irrigation projects in Gwalior and Chambal regions. Irrigation minister presented the department budget of Rs 8,800 crore, 78 lakh and 92,000, which was passed after discussion. BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma from Bhopal raised the issue that irrigation minister Narottam Mishra was ignoring the other parts of the state while sanctioning the irrigation projects in a particular region.
Rural development minister Gopal Bhargava also joined and said. “Hum Kaha Jaanye (Where should we go)”.
Congress MLA Madhu Bhagwat joining him demanded, “Please give water to our area.” He also threatened that if the minister did not accept his demand he would leave the assembly.
