Miscreants thrashes driver, fled with vehicle

Sendhwa: Two unidentified miscreant attacked a loading pick-up vehicle driver, thrashed him badly and fled with his vehicle on Wednesday afternoon near Bijasan Bypass. The injured driver was rushed to the civil hospital and is undergoing treatment. The injured driver identified as Mukesh Ratan (46), resident of Maheshwar informed that two miscreants asked for lift to which he agreed but after reaching Bijasan bypass, they started thrashing him badly and even one of them tried to attack him with a sharp weapon. In an attempt to flee, Mukesh jumped from the moving vehicle. He was then rushed to the district hospital through 108 ambulance. Police have registered the case and started an investigation.
