BHOPAL : Two unidentified bike-borne miscreants snatched the chain from the neck of a 65-year-old woman at busy Bal Vihar Road in broad daylight on Thursday morning d while she was going to a temple walking. Luckily, the chain she was wearing was artificial and worth Rs 100. She reached police station following the incident and registered a complaint against the unidentified miscreants.
According to Hanumanganj police, victim Deepti Jain, 65, wife of Amit Lal Jain, resident of 118 Shanti Nagar, in her complaint to the police stated that she was going to the Jain Temple at Chowk on Thursday morning by walking around 8 am. When she reached the Bal Vihar Road a miscreant around 40 years of age came from opposite direction and before she could understand anything he snatched her chain and fled towards the other side of the road. On the other side of the road his accomplice was waiting on a bike. As soon as he reached there the accused started the ignition of the bike and fled from the spot.
