Sendhwa : A 14 year old girl was allegedly abducted and raped for many days in a village of Khargone district. The case came to light only after the family of the girl registered a case with the police on Tuesday.
As per the information received from the police, the girl went missing on December 18, when the accused convinced her to elope with him. He made a fake promise to the victim to marry her and took her to his village where he repeatedly raped for 13 days. A relative of the victim’s father informed him about the accused after which he lodged an FIR with the police.
Taking stern and prompt action, police arrested the accused and as per the statement of the victim, they lodged a case of abduction, and rape against him. A friend of the accused who helped him in abduction is still at large. Police are probing the matter.
