Petlawad : Few days back, a girl, recognized as Teju, was found dead at the Karmikheda Bodayta Road. The case was detected as one of the suicide attempts at the initial level. However, after the postmortem, it was brought to the notice that the girl was choked to death. Accused of her murder, have been identified and arrested.

As per the information received, the police had registered a case of murder against unidentified criminals.

The police then commenced with their investigation, wherein they discovered a phone number from deceased’s father. Under the guidance of district SP Krishna Vedi Deshawat, ASP and SDOP, Petlawad Inspector Kunwar Shivjeet Singh and station in-charge of Sargi police station, Sisodia investigated the details and the location of the provided cell phone number. On the basis of their investigation, they arrested Shiva Shambhu, Jitendra Kharadi and Raju Amliyar. It may be noted that the accused themselves confessed the crime.

According to the statement given by the accused, Shiva had a love affair with deceased Teju for last four months.

He had also given a cell phone to Teju. However, few days back, Teju’s father arranged for her engagement. Shiva, along with Raju and Jitendra, fled with Teju.

On their way, Teju fell down from the bike, and fainted due to some internal injury, Shiva and his friends decided to drop Teju back to her place. On their way back to Hamirgarh, Shiva choked her to death, fearing the reaction of her parents.
