Sendhwa : In the cabinet meeting of the state government, the minority welfare minister Antar Singh Arya raised the issue of slow pace work of Sendhwa-Khetia road. He expressed his discontent with work of the road that has been delayed for many years.

While discussing this issue, minister Arya informed all the cabinet ministers and officials of the departments that many a time, people have demanded the construction of this road as people are facing problems in transportation. He said that this road would provide the connectivity to two big states i.e. Gujarat and Maharashtra and with the construction of this road, all the problems of commuters would be solved.

He further said that the construction work was started many times but never got completed and at present the work is being carried out in slow speed. He also added that people also protested for this and submitted memorandums to many officials but in vain.

With an assurance to take stern action regarding this, the MD of Public Works Department and chief of MPRDC informed Arya that they have given 15 days time limit to the contractor for the completion of work but if the same didn’t happen then they would cancel his tender.
