BHOPAL: Several proposals related to development and civic amenities were cleared in a meeting of Mayor-in-council (MiC) of Bhopal Municipal Corporation held here on Monday. Mayor Alok Sharma presided over the meeting. The MiC permitted Tibet Sweaters Sellers Association to put up shops to sell woollens at Tin Shed, TT Nagar, MP Nagar Zone-II and in front of Sangam Talkies. It also approved a proposal to charge Rs 5000 per shop for setting up of fire crackers shop in New Market, Dussehra Maidan. Proposals related to deputing security guards at water pumps, external electrification in Indira Nagar Phase-I, work of shifting poles into central verge from Sarvadharma Bridge to Bairagarh Chichli in Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Nagar and sanctioning of payment to architecture for construction at ISBT were cleared. Similarly, the proposals regarding inviting tenders for consultant to prepare detailed project report under Pradhanmantri Awaas Yojana was also approved.

, sanctioning the list of 195 beneficiaries for Baba Nagar/Indira Nagar Phase-I project, permission to Shaligram Developers for beautification and development of Paras Indus Square, Bawadia Kalan and Shaitan Singh Market Shahpura were also approved.
