Ratlam : Memorandum addressed to the Union Railway Minister and General Manager Western Railway was submitted on Friday demanding additional train services on the Ratlam-Indore new broad gauge route via Fatehabad.
Memorandums signed by the large number of people including members of the trade and commercial organizations stated that presently only one DEMU train is running and that too with only eight coaches. Train facilities must be increased in view of needs of thousands of passengers every day. The memorandums were submitted on behalf of railway passengers, local people, trade and business organizations were handed over Upper Divisional Rail Manager Sanjay Agrawal and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dibbanjan Roy. On this occasion, Assistant General Secretary WREU Govind Lal Sharma, Member DRUCC Dilip Patni, Gustad Anklesaria of Rotary club, President Chamber of Commerce Kantilal Chhajed, Senior social worker Surendra Sureka, Bhushankumar Wadhwa of Rail yatri Samiti, President Timer Merchant Association Vinod Pirodia.
