Mandsaur : Though dark clouds hovering in the sky give a hint of impending rains, increased humidity has added to the woes of people who are reeling under the intense heat. The Rohini also passed on Monday.
There is no respite from sweltering heat and the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.8 degree Celsius on Monday. The minimum temperature was 27.1 degree Celsius. The clouded sky has increased humidity which is an indication of arrival of monsoon.
However, increased humidity has added to the discomfort as even coolers and fans fail to provide any succour. Rohini and Nautapa had started on May 25 and while Nautapa ended on June 3, the Rohini ended on June 8. It is said that if the Nautapa and Rohini go without any rains it signals a good monsoon.
