Uses a woman to impersonate mother; forges her signature

BHOPAL: Kolar police, on Wednesday arrested two of the five accused after a woman lodged a complaint against them for selling her agricultural land for Rs 48 lakh with the help of forged registry.

SHO, Kolar, Akhilesh Mishra said that the complainant woman named Ganga Bai, 50, wife of Hari Singh, a resident of Mahabadiya village under the limits of Kolar police station.

Mishra further said that the victim woman in her complaint told the police that she possess 2.3 acre agricultural land at Mahabadiya village. She further told the police that she has two son and the elder son named Sonu ( 22) along with other accused named Narayan Meena, Jeetmal, Bacchan Singh on February 13, 2013 presented a woman posing his mother in the registrar office and got the registry of land done.

Subsequently, after getting the agriculture land registry they have sold the land to a person named Kalyan Sharma in Rs 48 lakh. However as soon as the matter came into her knowledge she approached Kolar police station and lodged a complaint in this regard. Meanwhile, following the complaint of victim woman, police have registered a case under section 420 of IPC against all the accused and later arrested two people named Narayan Meena and Bacchan Singh who are still being interrogated about the other accused involved in the case.
