Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The telecast of Doordarshan High Power Broadcasting Center Jabalpur (VHE 10KW Channel 11) will be stopped from the midnight of October 31. Though the programs broadcast from this center will be available on DTH DD-Free Dish 24x7.
The Deputy Director Engineering, Doordarshan High Power, Anil Kumar Lakhera has given the above information and released an order on Monday evening.
The release states that according to the orders of higher ups, Prasar Bharati is going to shut down its analog terrestrial broadcasting all over the country under a phased plan of rationalization. Under which, the existing analog Doordarshan broadcasting centers are being closed.
