Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a recent operation, the Central GST (Good and Services Tax) department conducted a raid on Gala Developers in Jabalpur and uncovered a GST evasion of over ₹4 crore.
The investigation revealed that the firm was operating without GST registration for several years and was overlooking tax regulations entirely.
According to information, the raid lasted for two days which exposed irregularities in their business practices.
Gala Developers is a prominent firm in Jabalpur which provides the services of land development to builders and colonizers.
The authorities are continuing their probe into the case to uncover further details and take necessary action.
This crackdown highlights the government's focus on curbing tax evasion and ensuring compliance among major business entities.
