Madhya Pradesh: Elderly Woman Dies After Hit By JCB machine, Man Drowns In Pond

According to reports, the woman Radha Soni, her son Mahesh Soni and her 40-year-old daughter-in-law Seema were sitting outside their house.

Anuppur (Madhya Pradesh): A 65-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman were killed in two different incidents in Anuppur under Kotwali police station on Sunday, the police said.

According to reports, the woman Radha Soni, her son Mahesh Soni and her 40-year-old daughter-in-law Seema were sitting outside their house.

A JCB machine hit a pick-up van and injured Radha, Mahesh and Seema. The injured were sent to the district hospital where Radha died, and Seema, whose conditions deteriorated, was send to the Shahdol medical college.

The police took the JCB machine and its driver into their custody. In another incident, a 65-year-old man fell into a pond and drowned. According to reports, the man Titahi, resident of Bamhani village went to see Durga idol.

He slipped into the pond of Ramsharan Patel. Since he did not return home, his family members began to search for him and found his body floating in the pond.

On getting information, a team from Kotwali police station in Anuppur rushed to the spot and sent the body to district hospital for a postmortem.
