Madhya Pradesh: Covid-19 again on a decline, 32 cases reported, active cases reduce to 466

BHOPAL: After a gap of one week, the number of corona cases again declined in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Last week, the cases had registered an upward trend. The state reported 32 corona cases and the number of active cases also reduced to 466. Around 66,923 samples were sent for testing, while 145 samples were rejected at the time of testing. The corona-positive rate reduced to 0.04 per cent in the state. The infection tally went up to 790,015 and toll to 9,015.

Indore and Bhopal reported 6 and 7 corona cases, respectively. Indore reported a tally of 152,884 and toll of 1,391 and Bhopal reported a tally of 123,176 and toll of 972. Indoreís active cases reduced to 88, while Bhopalís active cases reduced to 96.

Gwalior and Jabalpur reported 1 and 3 corona cases, respectively, while their active cases number 11 and 24, respectively.

In the districts

Ratlam reported 4 corona cases and its active cases are 19, while Betul reported 1 corona case and its active cases are 22. The other districts which reported just one corona case include Hoshangabad, Neemuch, Datia, Shajapur, Mandla and Ashok Nagar, while their number of active cases are 8, 9, 6, 2 and 1, respectively. Rajgarh reported 2 corona cases.

Districts which reported zero corona cases include Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Khargone, Dhar, Shivpuri, Satna, Vidisha, Narsingpur, Sehore, Shahdol, Katni, Anuppur, Raisen, Sidhi, Balaghat, Singrauli, Mandsaur, Barwani, Morena, Damoh, Dewas, Chhatarpur, Panna, Tikamgarh, Seoni, Chhindwara, Umaria, Guna, Harda, Dindori, Harda, Khandwa, Sheopur, Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Bhind and Burhanpur.
