Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Two incidents of theft were reported from the Radhika garden area under the civil lines police station.
A band of burglars struck at two houses and made off with cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. According to reports, Deepak Latoria went to his native village Lalguwan along with his family members.
The thieves entered his house by breaking open the windows and escaped with Rs 2 lakh, 20 grams of gold, 500 grams of silver and an LED TV set.
Besides, the thieves also struck at the house of Latoria’s neighbour Guddu Raja and escaped with Rs 1, 00, 000 and jewellery.
The police rushed to the spot and began to probe the case.
