The new government must pay emphasis on the education system of the state universities. Employment must be generated as unemployment is majorly responsible for wastage of manpower. Infrastructure of the schools and colleges, especially of government schools must be improved. Our state lacks women safety and government needs to take care of this, no girl should have this fear.

The new government must lower the tuition fee of both schools and colleges, as education in our country is very costly compared to other countries. Scholarships must be provided to low and moderate income students to attend private schools. Student union elections must be regularly conducted in the state universities, so as the students get a chance to know how the student unions are formed and how it works.

Apart from mainstream courses like engineering and medical, the new government must also promote other professional and technical courses like journalism, photography, fine-arts. There are very few colleges of these courses. Sports is still considered a co-curricular activity, government should promote sports activities also in the state.

Some students are unable to pursue further studies due to lack of financial resources, the new government should ensure the education of students. Reservation on the basis of caste system must come to an end, to accomplish education for all. There shouldn’t be any difference between education of government and private school/college.

I am an engineering student and the engineering syllabus we are studying is of late 1980s, there has been no update made in our syllabus. The only aim of our education system is to pass the exams and there is no creative learning in our education. The practical knowledge we are given is next to zero. The new government must improve the education system and ensure that more practical knowledge must be given and more research programs must get started in the state.

The policies and schemes made by the government must not be focused on only one section of students. The vacant posts of professors must be filled, so students may get proper education. The education loan must be easy to avail by the students and there must be proper funding to the universities, to improve the infrastructure of the universities.
