BHOPAL : Chaotic scenes were witnessed at Raja Bhoj Airport in the state capital on Tuesday afternoon when passengers spotted CISF officials forcefully stopping a girl from boarding an Air India flight.
According to information, the girl was trying to flee from her house to meet her boyfriend in New Delhi without informing her parents; woman’s parents have also lodged a missing person complaint in this regard with Shahpura police station.
Shahpura police said that, a 24-year-old woman named Akansha Tripathi who resides at Rohit Nagar is M-Tech student. She left her house on Tuesday afternoon without informing her parents and reached at Raja Bhoj Airport to board Air India flight to meet her boyfriend in New Delhi.
Meanwhile Akansha’s parents have also lodged a missing person complaint with Shahpura police station. Later when they came to know about their daughter’s move they immediately informed Shahpura police that Akansha is about to leave for New Delhi from airport and urged them to stop her.
Following the information, police swung into action and without wasting any time, Gandhi Nagar police were notified. Akansha has bought ticket of Air India flight scheduled to depart at around 3:15pm. However she did not took boarding pass and was waiting in the lounge of airport for flight.
Later police made an announcement hearing which Akansha approached Air India and CISF officials.
Here she gave several excuses that she has notified her parents but none of them listen to her and she was not allowed to board flight and later she was handed over to her family members.
