BHOPAL: There was panic in Shahjehanabad area after a blast in LPG cylinder during the filling of gas in LPG kit of a four- wheeler on Monday afternoon.

Two people including the vehicle owner and son of the shop- owner were injured in the blast subsequent to which they were admitted to LBS Hospital. However, no case has been registered by Shahjehanabad police in this regard.

According to sources the owner of vehicle bearing registration number MP 04 NC 1689 named Nabab Khan, resident of Parwaliya on Monday afternoon went to LPG filling shop of Akbar Khan where Akbar’s son identified as Bittu was filling the gas in vehicle. The shop is by the side of the PGBT college.

During the process of filling gas, LPG cylinder burst in which the vehicle owner and Bittu sustained serious injuries after which they were admitted in LBS Hospital. There condition is said to be stable however, police did not registered any case till the filing of report.
