Lokmanthan to ‘promote nationalism’ begins from tomorrow in Bhopal

‘Some people taking undue advantage of our democracy’

BHOPAL: ‘Lokmanthan’ is the reply of ‘Bharat Jodo Brigade’ to ‘Bharat Todo Brigade’, claimed the organisers.

The three-day Lokmanthan will be held on MP Vidhan Sabha premises from November 12. The CM will inaugurate an exhibition related with the programme on Friday.

One of the organisers of the programme, Nand Kumar, informed a press conference that the programme is been organised by the state culture

department with the collaboration of a social organisation Pragya Pravah.

“India is a nation of diversity and it is a fine example of unity but some people are trying to take undue advantage of our democracy”.

He also claimed Indians have colonial mindset. The US election results are a victory of nationalism.

Avdheshanand Giri, head of the Juna Akhara, along with Governor OP Kohli, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the programme.

He added that in the programme eminent scholars will present their thoughts in four plenary sessions and 24 panel discussions. Around 1000 delegates from all over the country are likely to participate in the programme.

He added that the objective of the programme is to promote nationalism.

On the concluding day November 14, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and the state assembly speaker will be present.

Govindacharya not to attend

The RSS pracharak and thinker KN Govindacharya will not attend the programme. Nand Kumar informed that he refused to attend the programme saying that had other personal engagements. The leaders and the activists of anti-Triple Talaq movement will participate in the discussion.
