‘People in the West are rich but not happy’
BHOPAL: “Globalisation has turned the world violent and Lokmanthan will dwell on where the world is heading to”, said senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi on the second day of the brainstorming conclave here on Sunday.
He was speaking on “Nationalism in the era of neo-liberalism and globalization”.
He said that globalisation has promoted global terrorism. “Only nationalism will end violent globalisation. We should think why people around the world have accepted Yoga. It is because it has given them peace. Globalisation and economic growth can bring about material development but not give peace. In the developed countries, people are rich but they are not happy. Yoga gave them peace and that is why it should be promoted.”
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that India will again be the guiding light of the world and the path of Vasudev Kutumbakam, which was followed by India, will be the slogan of the whole world. Pt Deendayal Upadhyay gave us the philosophy of Integral Humanism, which we have forgotten. But it is high time when we should revisit his ideology.
He said, “The demonetisation of higher denomination notes by Prime Minister will make those who have gobbled up the money of the people repent their doings.
