Latest coronavirus news from MP districts on October 19

Madhya Pradesh crossed 1,60,000 corona positive cases on Sunday, recording 4.1 per cent positive rate, which was down from 4.8 per cent recorded a day previous. The past week saw a lot of fluctuations in positivity rate as from 6 percent recorded on last Monday, it dipped to 5.8 on the very next day  and further dropped to 3.8 , but continued to increase on  Thursday recording 4.7 % and went to 5.2 per cent on Friday. On the weekend it again witnessed a fall and came to 4.1 on Sunday.

Madhya Pradesh on Sunday saw 1,030 new coronavirus positive cases, which pushed its caseload to 1,60,188, while 20 fatalities took the toll to 2,773, a health official said. Four patients died in Bhopal, three in Gwalior, two each in Indore, Betul and Jabalpur and one each in Khargone, Dhar, Satna, Damoh, Mandsaur, Khandwa and Seoni, Balaghat continued to see a surge in Covid-19 cases with 35 positives. On Saturday it had reported 32 positives.

During the day 24782 samples were tested across the state. There are 13282 active cases and 144134 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.

Indore accounts for 31623 positive cases and 657 deaths, followed by Bhopal with 22370 cases and toll to 448 deaths. Ujjain reports 3376 positive cases with 97 deaths. Burhanpur recorded 775 while Neemuch has 2295 positives. Khandwa accounts for 1717 positive cases, and Khargone’s corona tally stands at 3741. Jabalpur recorded 12130 cases.Morena recorded 2716 cases while Mandsaur has 1940 cases and Dhar has recorded 2635 cases. Dewas has reported 1800 Cases. Sagar recorded 3102 cases. Tikamgarh has 949 cases and Raisen has recorded 1645 cases while Bhind has till date accounted for 1086 cases. Sheopur has 988 cases and Rewa has 2293 cases while Rajgarh has 1545 and Barwani recorded 2051 cases. Chhindwara has 2156 and Vidisha has 2001 cases. Shajapur has 1167 cases while Damoh has 1987 cases.

Datia has 1333 cases while Satna has 2023 cases and Jhabua has 1645 cases. Panna has 788 cases and Balaghat has 1817 cases while Sehore has 2014 cases.

Hoshangabad has 2751 cases and Narsingpur has 2939 cases while Betul has 2294 cases and Shivpuri has 2672 cases. Ratlam recorded 2310 cases. Chhattarpur has 1454 cases.

Ashok Nagar has 551 and Agar-Malwa has reported 444 cases. Sidhi has reported 1187 cases and Singrauli has 1227 cases while Shahdol has 2508 cases. Guna has 862 cases while Anuppur has 1462 cases and Alirajpur has 1044 cases.
