Last Shravan Somwar celebrated with devotion

Omkareshwar : Thousands of devotees swarmed into the temples to mark the last Monday of the holy month of Shravan.  Shravan Maas is considered the holiest month of the year as it comes with innumerable religious festivals and ceremonies. All Mondays, or Somwaars, of the Shraavan month, are specially observed with auspiciousness. People were seen performing ‘Special Puja’ at various places.

Many politicos including the chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje, MP Nandkumar Singh Chauhan and state congress president Arun Yadav were also visited the city on this occasion and worshiped lord Shiva.

Nagda – On the last Shravan Somwar, the idol of lord Shiva was lavishly adorned in the Badrivishal temple. Maha Aarti was also performed wherein large number of devotees participated.
