BETUL: In Sarni, a woman teacher of Boys Primary School abused and assaulted another teacher working at girl’s primary school. The terrified victim stopped going to the school after the incident. The son of the victim teacher filed a complaint with the district collector and demanded an action against the accused teacher. Mohit Sahu, son of assistant teacher Mamta Sahu, posted at government girls primary school Sarni, in his complaint stated that the girls primary school and boys primary school at Sarni function from the same building.
He stated that on Wednesday September 10 Kavita Soni, teacher at Boy’s School came to his mother Sahu’s classroom and ordered the girls to go home. When Sahu asked her the reason Soni started abusing her and snatched her purse and mobile phone, threw them away and started beating her up. She also threatened to kill her.
Mohit stated that his mother was operated in the recent past and her blood pressure fell due to the incident. She got so terrified by Soni’s act that she stopped going to the school after the incident.
He stated that Sahu complained about the incident to senior officials of the school, Sankul in-charge and at Sarni police station. Despite that no action was taken against Soni. He demanded disciplinary action against Soni.
