BHOPAL: The vice-chairman of Karond Krishi Upaj Mandi, Naresh Singh Thakur consumed some poisonous substance in the early hours of Tuesday. He has been admitted to Hamidia Hospital.
As per the Gunga police sources, Naresh Singh Thakur, 36, resident of Arvalia, Eintkhedi, is vice-chairman of Karond Krishi Upaj Mandi. He is burdened with huge debt and even has property dispute with various persons. He was under severe depression due to which he consumed the poison. Still he is unconscious while undergoing treatment.
SHO, Gunga police station, Narendra Kulaste said, “Thakur was intensely tense because of property dispute and debt. It is so far not clear that what kind of debts he has. He will be interrogated when he recovers.”
Bairasia SD OP Bina Singh said, “Police got information that Thakur had huge debt. It is not clear if he had taken loan from bank or from some private moneylender. He also runs a property business. At present, Thakur has not gained consciousness and still admitted to Hamidia Hospital.”
