City-based MM Musical group presented some evergreen songs of legendary playback singer Kishore Kumar at Dushyant Kumar Pandulipi Snagrahalaya on Monday.
Some of the classic songs which were based on rain were enjoyed the music lovers a lot. These songs were abke sawan mein jee dare…,’ ‘rimjhim gire sawan…,’ ‘mere naina sawan bhado…’. A romantic song ‘roop tera mastna…,’ of 1969 movie Aradhana, presented by singer Mukesh Tiwari whereas a duet ‘hawa ke saath-sath…’ of 1972 film ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, presented by Mamta Tiwari and Sankalp Yaduvansi left the audience spellbound. The programme concluded with duet ‘pyar mein dil pe maar de goli le le meri jaan..’, impressed the Kishore fans especially youth. The song of 1983 movie ‘Mahaan’ was presented by Riya Shukla and Mukesh. As many as 24 popular tracks the versatile singer like ‘bachna ye haseeno lo mai aa gaya…,’ entertained the music lovers a lot.
On the occasion, Jagdish Yadav, councillor of Ward no. 32 was present as chief guest whereas the programme was presided over by social activist Ramesh Tiwari.
