Kedarnath Singh releases Ashok Shah’s poetry collection

BHOPAL: A poem collection ‘Pita Ka Aakash’ of senior IAS officer Ashok Shah released by Gyanpeeth awarded senior poet Kedarnath Singh at state museum on Saturday. It is noted worthy here that Kedarnath Singh came for the first time in city to attend such programme after awarding the prestigious award. On this occasion, principal secretary of culture Manoj Shrivastava who is present as chief guest, city-based poet Rajesh Joshi expressed their opinion on Shah’s book and also gave best wishes to him. Moreover, Shah also recited some poems of this collection. A poem which depicts the life of a girl recited by him mesmerised the audience. Most of poems were based on emotions and social concerns.
