Katare demands special session of state assembly on law and order

BHOPAL : Leader of Opposition in state assembly Satyadev Katare has written to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, assembly Speaker Sitasharan Sharma and parliamentary affairs minister Narottam Mishra, demanding a special session of state assembly for debate on law and order situation. Katare has mentioned that the incidents of crime in the state have developed fear in the minds of people. He wrote it is necessary to debate on law and order and take action.

Katare demanded debate on the issues namely deaths of people in explosion in Petlawad, incident of explosion in Neemuch, rape with women in moving bus in Bhopal, death of journalist Sandeep Kothari in Balaghat, sand mafia beating government officers up and illegal sand mining. According to Katare the morale of criminals in the state is high and the matter must be debated on the floor of the House.
