BHOPAL : A week long camp will be organised at Samarpan Kendra at JP hospital for children with heart ailments from Tuesday. About 200 children will be diagnosed for Septal Defect and other heart ailments by a team of four doctors from Narayan Hirdayalay, Bengaluru.

The preliminary screening will be followed by tests and treatment free of cost for the children diagnosed with any disease.

Yogendra Singh, in-charge, Samarpan informed that the expenses of complete treatment of children diagnosed and referred for further treatment will be borne by the government. “The expenses of bringing children from villages near Bhopal, who have been identified by our volunteers for screening, will be borne by the government”, he said. The Samarpan Kendra has organised many camps before and this will be the third heart camp at the center.
