Dhamnod : The police have succeeded to recover jewelry worth Rs 25 lakhs in hotel Dudhi Highway loot case. The complainant Aziz fabricated whole loot story and the loot booty was recovered from his home.
SP Rajesh Hingankar informed that Sarafa trader Abdul Aziz had registered a loot case stating that some unidentified person hit him from back side and looted 800 gm gold jewelry on December 5 at Dudhi Highway hotel. A case under sections 394 with number 697/2014 was registered on December 8.
A police team investigated the matter and found that the complainant was trying to hide something and later he confessed about the constructing the story. He accepting the story said that he used to bring the jwellery from a sarafa trader Dilip Kothari to fix perms in them. He did not want to return the jwellery and that is why made up the story.
He took a bus to reach to Mumbai but got down from the bus and stayed at the Dudhi Highway hotel. He hit himself with a stone and left it in the bathroom. After that he pretended to be unconscious.
All of the loot booty was found from his home. SP Hingankar declared a certificate and cash prize for the police team.
