RATLAM : Jan Sunwai, being held on every Tuesday, is attracting large number of people to get resolved their grievances. On Tuesday, 181 applications were received and disposed off by the District Collector B Chandrashekhar. The issue of demolition of a police chowki which existed till the year 2005 in village Mawta was brought to the notice by residents of the village Lalitabai and Mohan bai who claimed that the police chowki in village was set up in 1920 but was demolished in 2005. And now attempt is being made by a resident to carry out allegedly illegal construction.

District Collector issued directive to the PWD executive engineer to verify the facts and take actions as per law. A girl student Kavita approached the district collector that she was not being given admission by the GSTITS as she is not in position to deposit the fee of Rs.40 thousand but she has got the eligibility of scholarship due to her obtaining first class in the last education.

Assistant Commissioner Adivasi department was directed to contact the management of GSTITS for her admission as fee can be paid on account of scholarship to be paid to her.

The eligible girl students is facing financial crisis due to death of her father. Jan Sunwai is becoming very popular here as people approach not only for the departmental grievances but also for the social and educational related problems solution.
