BHOPAL : The proprietor of Jai Hind Proteins (New Market) Om Prakash has been awarded six month imprisonment after he was found guilty of adulteration. Food and Drugs department, in 2003, had taken the samples of cashew and cream roles and found the edibles adulterated. The court of additional district judge (ADJ) Sanjay Singh awarded punishment to the bakery shop owner.
Public Prosecutor Vikram Singh said, “Food inspector AM Khan had taken the samples of cashew and cream roles on November 4, 2003. On testing, it was found adulterated. After the hearing in case, the court of ADJ Sanjay Singh convicted and awarded six months imprisonment to the owner of Jai Hind Protein, Om Prakash.”
