BHOPAL : The BJP headquarters wore a deserted look while there were tumultuous celebrations at PCC on the landslide victory of the ‘Grand Alliance’ of JD(U), RJD and Congress on Sunday in Bihar polls. BJP is in a state of shock over its massive drubbing while the victory is a shot in arm for the Congress and other non-BJP parties.
Congressmen celebrated the Bihar victory with drums and fireworks at the PCC office. There were celebrations at the PCC chief Arun Yadav said, “Bihar polls results have demonstrated that there is no place for hollow slogans, intolerance, false promises of development, progress and suit-boot culture which Modi government tried to introduce. The victory of grand alliance in Bihar will inaugurate a new era in Indian politics. It is for the first time in Indian history that people have rejected a Prime minister within 19 months of him taking over. Divisive forces have been taught a lesson in Bihar assembly polls. Delhi and Bihar polls results are clear message against Modi Government.”
AAP national spokesman Alok Agrawal said, “BJP defeat is defeat of hollow promises. It is victory of communal harmony. Bihar people have proved the strength of the democracy.”
Agrawal said, “Modi government which had made promises on inflation, unemployment, corruption and black money, could not fulfill any of these promises. This is the reason BJP was defeated just after nine months of Lok Sabha polls and after nine months of it, BJP has been defeated in Bihar.” AAP state secretary Akshay Hunka said, “The victory of grand alliance in Bihar assembly elections is victory of Aam Admi.”
