Umaria : Village Kuwar Malhadu’s village Kurawar witnessed various programs organised in association with Madhya Pradesh Samaj Sewa Sansthan, International Human Rights Association, GDSS and Prasfutan Samiti.
The programme marked attendance of 90 villagers on the occasion. The programme was coordinated b Madhya Pradesh Samaj Sewa Sansthan’s Chandan Singh, after which GD Singh took over the dais explained the importance of the occasion and took a stock of the issues which the villagers face.
District President of International Human Rights Association Ashok Mishra highlighted various caste based issues and said that caste discrimination has a very big role in stagnating the developmental processes in many villages.
Village Secretary of Prasfutan Samiti Qamar Singh said that the main reason behind backwardness of the villages in the region the lackadaisical attitude of many Panchayat representatives and brought attention of the speakers towards the problems faced by the villages.
The programme ended after lunch and thanksgiving. Many members such as Chandan Singh, Ramprakash, Advocate Chandra Prakash Sahu, Rohit Rajak and Santosh, Ravi Singh, Katrnia, Ram Pratap Parastee, Sakendra Singh played roles in successful organisation of the programme.
