Indore jeweler attacked, looted in Dhamnod

Dhamnod : An Indore based jeweler was assaulted by unidentified person and was robbed off gold ornaments in Dhamnod town. Police are searching for the accused. The incident occurred when 48 years old Abdul Aziz of Indore had alighted from a bus to relieve himself from a bus at Doodhi situated near Dhamnod town at AB Road around 8.30 pm on Sunday. Aziz was travelling to Mumbai in the bus. He was carrying a bag with himself when some unidentified accused hit him with some blunt object on the back of his head. The victim fell unconscious on the spot and was referred to Indore in critical condition. The attacker fled with his bag containing gold ornaments weighing 750 grams. A case of attempt to murder and loot was registered at police station and police were trying to nab the culprit.
